I am ABSOLUTELY appalled, and disgusted with the loss of this beautiful park and it's prancing Impala. It was the heart of the city! A joyful monument depicting the wealth of the Country. Seeing this I am truly sad to say that I am a South African. I used to take my lunch breaks in this park to restore my spirits from being couped up in the office all day ...
The Impala statue is now situated in front of the Anglo American building, 45 Main Street, Johannesburg.
